This month’s talk is by Graham and Sharon who are volunteers for the locally based charity Little Lifts, “a small but mighty charity” inspired by the kindness of Oa, its founder who was, until recently, a Bawburgh resident.
Many of us have been affected by cancer and one of its most common forms is breast cancer.
The charity provides gift boxes for people across the UK who are receiving treatment for breast cancer, to help alleviate the emotional and physical side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment. Little Lifts is inspired by the kindness that Oa received from her friends and family during her own breast cancer treatment. She wanted to help other people feel more prepared, supported and loved as they begin treatment.
